Manifold v1.2 has been released

As of today (Feb. 13, 2017), Manifold Release v1.2, is available for download. The most important changes in this release include: (1) a new network (torus6p) to support 3D multi-core simulation, (2) a new plugin proxy for KitFox library to enable multi-physics analysis such as thermal, power, and reliability.

As of today (May 15, 2016), Manifold Release v1.1, is available for download. The most important changes in this release include: (1) a new QSimProxy frontend to support latest QSim v2.3, (2) both x86_64 and aarch64 simulation are supported by spx core model, and (3) a new graphBig benchmark is now included for parallel graph simulation.

Manifold 0.12 has been released

As of today (May 29, 2014), Manifold Release 0.12, is available for download. The most important changes in this release include: (1) a port of DRAMSim2, an open-source DRAM controller model developed at University of Maryland, (2) implementation of the time-quantum synchronization algorithm, which allows out-of-order events in order to achieve faster speed, and (3) re-writing of the simulators under the smp directory to support registering different components to different clocks.

Manifold Tutorial at HPCA-2014

The Manifold team presented a half-day tutorial on Manifold at the 20th IEEE International Symposium on High Performance Computer Architecture (HPCA-2014), on Feb. 15, 2014, in Orlando, FL. The tutorial gives a detailed introduction to Manifold and focuses on how to build and simulate multicore system models using Manifold, as well as how to write components for Manifold.
